Just made it back from New York City an hour ago. Man was that an amazing time spent with so many great friends. I wish I had pictures to show but unfortunately I don't have time to upload anything because....I am coming home!!! I am leaving Texas in an hour for Eugene, OR. From one coast to another I will be heading back to my homeland. I can't wait to see you all there!

On the Road Again!!!
Well it's that time. We're heading off to NYC tomorrow afternoon and everything is going crazy as we finish deadlines, do laundry, and pack. But here at CCM we make the best of every circumstance, and sometimes even have fun. There are so many things going down in the next two weeks that I'm not sure how much time I'll have to blog. While in NYC we're going to be doing our first live broadcast. We will be televising live all of the world, including Jerusalem Lainie! With a free day on Sunday to look forward to and heading home the week after NYC things are going to be a exhausting but a blast. After NYC I'll be jumping off of one bus and on to the other. Coast to coast in two weeks guys!!! I'm so excited to be coming back home, even if it's only for a few days. I wish it were longer. After talking to my mom this weekend we discovered that I will have come home every four months, during my time in Texas, this August. I would love prayers for safe traveling and that we don't break down. I love hearing from you guys so shoot me an email or give me a call sometime soon.

April Fools?
Today is apparently April Fools but things at CCM are rather calm....for now. Yesterday was Easter, a day spent relaxing with friends, enjoying sleep, and celebrating God's incredible power overcoming the grave.
However the weekend wasn't all Easter eggs and candy. When Friday hit I realized how much I really miss my family but because I have such great friends I was able to endure.
Being away from everyone for Easter, not being with another family to celebrate with was difficult. But during this weekend I was reminded of the verse in Philippians where Paul talks about being content in every circumstance. Paul went from being in a very comfortable position when he was a Pharisee to having to depend on God and the generosity of others to sustain his day to day living when he became a follower of Christ. Following God is rewarding but it isn't always going to be comfortable, and why should we want life to always be comfortable?
Stepping out of your comfort zone helps you to grow, helps you to reach new heights, and widens your horizons to places you can go, people you can reach, and things you can do. Trust. Trust that God is in control, that he has the big picture in mind. Trust that no matter how far away my family is God is closer then my next breath.
The next few weeks are going to be crazy busy and I'm excited for the things that are coming up. A potential trip to Dallas this weekend, a New York City road trip the week after that, and home to Eugene for an Acquire the Fire the next weekend. Life is about to get very busy.
I always appreciate your prayers for safety, finances, and general good spirits and if you have any prayer requests let me know.
